German youth delegation rejects visiting Israel, prefers Egypt

A delegation of German youth refused to visit Israel preferring Egypt to implement their voluntary program with participants from 20 European, African, Asian states.

ΚΚΚ The German delegation chairman remarked that the visit comes to enjoy the atmosphere of Egypt and to get acquainted with the genuine Egyptian civilization and the Egyptian people.

ΚΚΚ German delegation member's said they rejected visiting Israel due to arbitrary practices in the occupied territories against the Palestinian people who had nothing to do but steadfastness until they attained liberation.

ΚΚΚ This came within the context of the German delegation meeting with Mahmoud Shafiq, director-general of youth camps in Abukir, Alexandria.

ΚΚΚ Shafiq, on his part, stressed keenness on implementing voluntary public service programme in Abukir youth camps comprising 1700 person.
