Two Palestinians shot by Israel, new incursions for Gaza, Jenin, Halhoul

The Israeli forces yesterday launched a land and air attack against the coast of Gaza and occupied most of it, and broke into al-Sheikh Ajloun village using scores of tanks and armored vehicles backed by Apache planes, isolated Gaza from its coast and besieged the headquarters of the Palestinian preventive security department.

The Palestinian Muhammad Ateyah Barakaeh ( 27 year old) was killed by an Israeli bullet on the coastal road between Deir al-Balah camp and the south of Gaza and another citizen was wounded as a result of opening fire at him near Ghoushe Katief settlement.

The Palestinian Muhammad al-Ammouri ( 34 year old) was killed after he was hit by many bullets while in his house in Wadi Bourqin near Jenin camp while the Israeli forces were breaking into the camp.

The Israeli forces also stormed into Halhoul town to the north of Hebron by tanks backed by Apache planes and launched an inspection campaign in the houses of the town and arrested many of its citizens.

The Palestinians retaliated by firing shells at an Israeli army position and at the Israeli Ghoushe Katief and Neve Dekalim and inflicted large damages in one of the building. Intensive fire was exchanged between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces in that area. A situation which obliged the Israeli army to recommend the settlers to hide in the shelters.

The Palestinian resistance men also opened fire at an Israeli car near Ofreen settlement in the west bank.

Meantime, the Israeli police found two bodies for Israeli settlers who were knifed to death inside a flat in Karmathil settlement in Hebron area.
