The secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa stated that there is Arab consensus to enlist an item concerning foreign threats against the Arab states, foremost being the American threats against Iraq on the agenda of the AL council at the level of the Arab foreign ministers to be held on September 4 and 5.
In a statement in Cairo on Wednesday, Moussa added following a consultation meeting held by permanent representatives of the Arab states at the AL that the American threats will be discussed and followed up by the Arab foreign ministers who will discuss means of coordinating Arab stances to withstand these threats so as to have a clear and set position concerning these threats.
