Morocco's Hicham El-Guerrouj wins mile race at London meet

Morocco's athlete Hicham El-Guerrouj, won in London Friday the mile race at the Crystal Palace meet in 3'50"86"'. The three time world champion came ahead of Kenya's Cornelius Chirchir and Portugal's Rui Silva.
El Guerrouj holds the record of the meeting (3'45"96"'). This is the Moroccan champ's fourth victory of the season after wins in Eugene (3'50"89"'), Oslo (3'50"12"') and Rome (3'48"28"').
