Al-Jazeera: Qatar denies permitting US attacks against Iraq

The Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem al-Thani arrived on Monday in Baghdad in an official visit during which he discusses the possibility of the return back of UN inspectors to Iraq in order to dismantle the current crisis, according to the Qatari al-Jazeera TV station.
In an arrival statement at Baghdad's international airport, the Qatari minister repeated his country's position in rejecting striking Iraq. He stressed that the current crisis should be solve through the UN.
Sheikh Jasem added that the region cannot bear more tensions. He simultaneously denied that the US have had requested from Qatar to facilitate the launch of its attack against Iraq.
