Libyan, Sudanese, Ugandan meeting

A meeting was held on Saturday evening in Tripoli included the secretary of the Libyan people's committee for African unity Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki, the Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman and Uganda's foreign minister James Wabaka.
The participants in the meeting discussed Sudanese- Ugandan relations and means of developing them as well as Libyan- Sudanese, Uganda cooperation to strengthen security and peace in the region.
The participants in the meeting also stressed the importance of preserving Sudan's unity and stability and continued work in order to solve all problems pending between Sudan and Uganda in a fraternal context and in a way to strengthen African unity and reveal the ability of the Africans to solve their problems without foreign interventions.
