Al-Qabas: Sheikh Khaled visited Washington

The Kuwaiti daily al-Qabas said on Saturday that the Kuwaiti deputy premier and minister of the Interior Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah paid a short visit to Washington last Tuesday where he met with the director of the CIA George Tenet.
The paper said that the minister and Tenet exchanged view points concerning several issues, especially the developments of conditions in Iraq. The two sides also discussed the issue of the Kuwaiti citizens detained in "Guantanamo base, the paper added, noting that Tenet promised to release most of them because they were not involved in acts deserved to be condemned for.
