Al-Youm: Father of Saudi wanted by US denies son's involvement in September attacks

The Saudi daily al-Youm said on Friday that the father of the Saudi which the FBI issued a warrant of arrest against him, denied his son's involvement in the attack of September 11 in the USA.

Abdul Aziz al-Rasheed, father of the accused citizen Saud al-Rasheed ( 21 year old) told the paper that his son is currently "in Riyadh carrying simple trade businesses" and "has been for two years in Afghanistan taking part in charity and humanitarian works and he had returned back to the Kingdom four months before September 11 incidents."

He added that his son only left the kingdom for a "trip to Egypt three days before the FBI published his photo and announced his name." He said he has "cooperated with specialized security sides in the Kingdom to challenge these accusations and prove this his son is not guilty concerning all accusations addressed to him."
