Israel's role in the war against Iraq

The Paris based al-Muharrir news said in an article on Friday and based on a European intelligence report that Israel's role in the approaching war against Iraq is not linked to retaliating to Iraqi missile attacks, rather it will go beyond this and Israel will attempt to find out the hiding shelters of the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and members of his family as well as his main military and political aides and to kill them.

The report attributed to the military sources at the Israeli defense ministry its confirmation that the same planes which are owned by Israel after implementing their missions in Iraq will be given orders by its leadership to head for Lebanon in order to eliminate the military infrastructure of the Hizbullah party, later on.
