Al-Assad reviews local developments in Aleppo
Syria, Local, 8/22/2002
Syria's President Bashar al-Assad in Aleppo on Wednesday received the secretary of the Baath party branch in Aleppo Abdul Ghafour al-Sabouni and the governor Osama Ade and members of the branch's leadership.
The president listened to members of the branch leadership on clarifications on conditions and activities in the governorate of Aleppo.
Al-Assad also received yesterday Ghassan karim the chairman of the office of the Aleppo chamber of industry and office's members.
Discussions dealt with the industrial activity in the governorate and measures taken to improve it within the march of modernization and progress.
