Al-Deyar: On al- Shara's current Arab tour

The Lebanese daily al-Deyar noted the visit to be held by the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara to certain Arab states in order to withstand the American campaigns against Saudi Arabia and Egypt and the threats to striking Iraq.
The paper said, according to diplomatic sources that preparations are made to convene a tripartite summit in Cairo or Riyadh and that convening this summit is linked to the atmospheres of contacts al-Shara makes with the Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal.
In Wednesday's issue, according to the sources, the paper said that the aim of the summit is to discuss the American campaigns against Egypt and Saudi Arabia which precede the American military act against Iraq.
