Al-Assad meets Jordanian premier, Syrian water for Jordan

Syria's President Bashar al- Assad on Tuesday in Aleppo met with the Jordanian Prime Minister Ali Abul Ragheb. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro, the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara, the Jordanian foreign minister Marwan Muasher and the Jordanian ambassador in Damascus Shaker Arabeyat.
Discussions dealt with bilateral relations between the two states and the meeting of the Syrian- Jordanian joint higher committee due to be held in September.
Abul Ragheb talked about the difficult conditions Jordan is facing because of the water shortage and the president recommended to supply Jordan with water.
Discussions also dealt with regional conditions and latest developments on the Arab arena as well as issues of mutual concern.
