Saudi Arabia denies Moroccan request to bring ambassador before judiciary

The Saudi foreign ministry has denied news to have had received any request from the Moroccan authorities asking for bringing the Saudi ambassador in Rabat before the Moroccan judicial court to give his testimony concerning the cause of Saudis accused of being members in a "sleeping cell" discovered and which belongs to al-Qaida organization.
An official source at the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement quoted on Tuesday by the Saudi daily ( al-Youm) that the Moroccan government did not officially ask for the ambassador's testimony and that the foreign ministry will discuss this matter if it will receive it officially.
