Football: Morocco's Raja Club defeats Egypt's Al-Ahly in African League

Morocco's Raja Club of Casablanca defeated in Casablanca on Sunday Al-Ahly of Egypt 2-0 in a second day match of the African Champions League.

The Moroccan goals were scored in the second half by Francois, a Cameroonian striker with Raja, and Hicham Abou Charwane.

The victory puts the Moroccans in the second place of their group with three points from two matches. The group is led by Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo, which defeated Senegal's Jean D'Arc of Senegal in Dakar on Saturday. Mazembe, who had defeated Raja in Lumumbashi 2-1, have 6 points from two games.

Al-Ahly, winner of last year's title, is last with zero point.
