Niger's president in Libya for bilateral talks

Libya and Niger have stressed their identical view points concerning African, regional and international issues during the talks held between LibyaÕs Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi and Niger's President Muhammad Kanja and the delegations representing the two countries.
In a joint statement issued in Tripoli on Monday on the visit of Niger's President to Libya, the two sides expressed their satisfaction over the process of projects carried out by "Africa's system for projects in Niger and over the volume of Libyan investments in Niger," stressing the need of following up these investments and providing the appropriate environment for it. The two sides also underlined the importance of forming a committee to follow up this process besides the issue of refunding the loans.
The two sides also indicated the importance of security cooperation between the two sides in various fields relating to joint border security and signing a security cooperation agreement as well as completing issues pertinent to judicial cooperation agreement.
