Russian- Iraqi cooperation

Sources at the Russian foreign ministry stressed that the program on developing cooperation between Russia and Iraq which is in progress does not violate the UN sanctions law imposed on Iraq, rather complies with Russia's international obligations.
In a statement on Monday, the sources explained that Moscow and Baghdad are working openly and since several years in order to draw a long term program to develop their bilateral trade and economic, industrial and scientific cooperation.
