Maher wants action and not words from Israel
Egypt-Israel, Politics, 8/17/2002
Asked about Israeli President Moshe Katzav's call for holding an Arab-Israeli peace meeting, Egypt's PM Ahmed Maher said: "There are many good intentions announced by some people who want to help solve problems. But not all good intentions can be translated into facts on the ground." He asserted that it was more important right now for Israel to stop its hostile policy towards the Palestinian people and towards the peace process.
