Cabinet to approve executive Statutes of laws on activating local market

The Egyptian Cabinet will dedicate its upcoming meetings to approve some executive statutes including that of the laws on money laundering, exclusive economic zones, real-estate mortgage exports promotion and intellectual property rights.

ÊÊÊ All these laws aim at activating the local market, increasing the direct investments and boosting Egypt's exports competitiveness.

ÊÊÊ The first Cabinet meeting will discuss the draft law social insurance to keep pace with the socio-economic changes and bridge the gap between the people's income and pension in addition to fighting the phenomenon of insurance evasion.

ÊÊÊ An official source at the Cabinet told Ahram's reporter that the draft law will be tabled for discussion by the public opinion especially the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF).

ÊÊÊ On the other hand, the official added that the meeting would also probe a well-designed plan for upgrading the small-sized enterprises in the light of recommendations made by previous meetings of many ministerial meetings and the conference held by the Administrative Monitoring Authority.

ÊÊÊ The Cabinet is expected also to set a package of executive measures that guarantee allocation of L.E. 25 billion throughout the coming three years to lend young people who are willing to implement small-sized projects through a finance by three parties: the donors, banks and the state budget.
