Ten Algeria gunmen killed, 14 arrested

The Algerian La Tribune said on Thursday that ten armed Islamists were killed on Wednesday by the security forces in Boultas mountain in Seidi Bala'abas area.

The paper indicated that the security forces had been besieging the armed group since several days. Since the beginning of August some 60 Islamists were killed, based on press statistics, not officially confirmed.

On the other hand, the Algerian police recently arrested 14 armed Islamists in Si Mustafa in Boumerdas area, according to several papers.

The sources indicated that those men belong to the al-Salafeyah le Adawa Wal Qital ( the pre-destination for call and fighting ), and they were preparing to commit several attacks.

The papers said that a small bomb was went off on Wednesday in "Tebsa " did not result in casualties rather damages in buildings. N.
