Egyptian military maneuvers in Sinai

The Egyptian armed forces have carried out large scale maneuvers on Thursday in the Sinai Peninsula. It was attended by units of all sections of the second Egyptian army.
The Egyptian defense minister Lt. Gen. Hussein Tantawi supervised the maneuvers and discussed with the participating army leaders and officers in the exercises ways of implementing their missions according to their own specifications.
Worthy mentioning that the US once remarked the possibility of pulling out its forces positioned in Sinai in the context of the multinational force present in Sinai separating between Israel and Egypt. The idea was proposed to both Israel and Egypt.
