Egypt draws plan to restore stolen antiquities

"A national committee will set a plan to restore the smuggled and stolen Egyptian antiquities and phrase out an appeal for the international community's assistance in this regard," said the Minister of Culture.
ΚΚΚ The committee that was ordered by the Cabinet groups representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs and culture, said Farouk Hosni.
ΚΚΚ Zahi Hawas, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities and member of the committee, said the committee would prepare a number of proposals to be referred to African and European expert committee due to convene in Morocco next month to follow up the issue.
ΚΚΚ He said the proposals include measures to survey and register the stolen monuments and prepare lists to be published by the international media and Internet websites.
