King Fahd heads for Marbaya

Saudi Arabia's King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz on Wednesday headed for Marbaya in Spain after he had spent more than two months in Geneva, Switzerland.

A source close to the Royal court said that King Fahd left Geneva accompanied by a delegation of 400 persons heading for Spain where he will stay in Marbaya resort until the beginning of September before he will return back to Saudi Arabia.

One of Geneva's airport administrator said that the Saudi delegation left on a fleet composed of 12 planes and that the King who was moving on a mobile chair took his private 747 Boeing accompanied by a hospital plane Boeing 757.

The King was due to had left Geneva on Sunday but the travel was postponed because of the strike carried out by the Spanish Malaqa airport.

During his stay in Geneva, the King ( 82) year old underwent a surgery in the right eye. A diplomat who asked not to be identified said that "the King's health condition is not bad but no more stable as used to be before."

A note in the official records in Geneva appeared ten days ago, stating that the King registered his palace in Colony town in Belreve on the banks of Leiman lake to his second wife princess Jawhara al-Ibrahim, raised strong rumors on the issue of his succession.
