Barghouthi in court today

Khuder Shqeirat, lawyer of Marwan Barghouthi, the secretary general of the Fatah movement in the West Bank said he will be brought today ( Wednesday) before a Tel Aviv court and that the court will extend his detention.
Shqeirat added that Barghouthi is accused of being the chairman of "al-Aqsa martyrs groups" of the Fatah movement, adding that Barghouthi continued to refuse cooperation with the Israeli investigators and asks to be treated as a political prisoner in his capacity as a member in the Palestinian legislative council.
Eliakim Robinshtine, the legal advisor for the Israeli government said that Barghouthi's trial will be held in an Israeli civil court and not a military one.
