Chief of Knesset Security Committee visits Cairo Sunday

Haim Ramon, the chief of the Israeli Knesset Security and Foreign Affairs Committee and a Labour Party member, will visit Cairo on tomorrow to meet with a number of Egyptian officials.
Sources at the Egyptian Embassy in Israel told Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Wednesday that Ramon will discuss with Egyptian officials the deteriorating conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories, means to end the Israeli aggressions, the Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian territories and the resumption of peace negotiations.
Four prominent Israeli Labour Party members have recently visited Egypt including Defence Minister Benjamin Ben Eliezer who visited Egypt twice, Speaker of Israeli Knesset Abraham Burg, Minister of Communication Ephraim Sneh and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres.
