Mubarak discusses with Kuwaiti defense minister military cooperation

A source close to the Egyptian presidency announced on Tuesday that President Hosni Mubarak made on Tuesday in Cairo that talks with the Kuwaiti minister of defense, Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, focused on military cooperation between the two states.
The source added, without any further explanations, that the Egyptian defense minister Muhammad Hussein Tantawi took part in the talks.
Tantawi and al-Sabah, according to news reports "exchanged view points on recent developments and the current situation in the region and also the question of peace under the conditions and challenges the Middle East region is facing and affecting its security and stability." The reports added that the two sides also discussed "means of supporting military cooperation and relations between the two countries." and is in the course of the " two countries' care to open new prospects for cooperation between the armed forces in the two countries."
