Qaddoura, al-Shara review with Khouri Syrian- Lebanese relations

The speaker of the Syrian People's Assembly ( parliament ) Abdul Qader Qaddoura on Monday received the secretary general of the Syrian- Lebanese higher council Nasri al-Khouri.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and the role played by the Syrian- Lebanese higher council to revitalize assigned activities and to foster these relations.

Discussions also dealt with issues of mutual concern at the social, economic and cultural levels.

Later in the day, Syrian deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara met with al-Khouri. Talks dealt with bilateral relations and agreements and measures implemented by the two countries in various areas of cooperation. Arab and international developments were also reviewed.
