Total Israeli closure of West Bank, two Palestinians killed

The two Palestinians Khaled Seif and Muhammad Farrouneyah were shot by the Israeli soldiers in Burqa village near Nablus upon breaking into one house.

The Palestinian youth Hamzeh al-Badawi ( 13 year old) was killed when an Israeli tank opened fire at Balatah camp, while another Palestinian was shot and another wounded in a booby trapped car explosion near Um al-Fahm village to the north of Israel.

Meantime, the Israeli army totally closed 6 Palestinian cities in the West Bank. They are. Jenin, Nablus, Toulkarem, al-Khalil, Qalqilya and Ramullah and imposed total curfew for citizens on the roads or on moving from one city to another.

The Israeli forces also broke several villages and camps in the West Bank amid acts of detention targeted 16 citizens under the pretext of resisting occupation, seven of them in Nahhalin village of Bethlehem, two in Qabatia town in Jenin and other two near Nablus.

More than 20 Israeli tanks incurred in the city of Rafah, escorted by the Israeli military vehicles and closed the main crossing with the Egyptian borders and prevented the passengers from using it both ways.

An Israeli military spokesman considered the city as a closed military area. He said that Rafah's isolation is a first step to be followed by other steps to isolate other Palestinian cities and villages in the West Bank and Gaza.

As Israel has brought in 500 new Israeli settlers to distribute them on the settlements, the Zionist extremist Sadi Bar organization built a new settlement to the north of Jenin under the protection of the Israeli forces.

The Palestinians retaliated by installing an ambush for an Israeli car near Shello settlement in the West Bank that resulted in killing two settlers and wounding others. The Israeli defense ministry admitted that so far 606 Israeli settlers were killed and more than 4,000 wounded since the eruption of the Palestinian Intifada.

Meanwhile, Ezz Eddine al-Qassam group said that the executor of the Jerusalem operation on Sunday, in which three Israeli soldiers were killed, is Ibarhim al-Saou from Hebron, stressing that this operation is part of retaliating the assassination of its leader Salaha Shehadeh and other 17 in Gaza.

Meantime, the Israeli President Moshe Katsav called for completing the building of a separation line between the West Bank and Israel, while the Israeli defense minister threatened to escalate oppressive campaigns against the Palestinian people.

Former chairman of the foreign committee and security at the Israeli Knesset admitted the failure of all military measures and policies used by Israel to eliminate the Palestinian Intifada.
