Yemeni journalists voice solidarity with Nafe
Yemen-Egypt, Politics, 8/6/2002
The Yemeni media and press union has stressed its stand in support with the Egyptian journalist Ibrahim Nafe, chief editor of the Egyptian al-Ahram paper and the chairman of the Arab journalists Union and its condemnation for the summoning him up by the supreme court in Paris and accusing him of provoking hatred against the Jews.
The Yemeni journalists union considered that the accusation addressed to him is but an Israeli attempt to force the Arab media to give up its set national policy and national obligations in support of the "Arab nation causes especially the cause of Palestine."
