On the occasion of UAE's 36th national day anniversary

The United Arab Emirates UAE today Monday celebrates the investiture day. The day which marks the assumption of power by United Arab Emirates (UAE) President, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi Emirates in 1966.

With the fall of the 36th anniversary of this political event, the people of the UAE are proud of the achievements realized in their country during the past decades manifested in various political, economic, social, cultural and services areas.

Just two years after he assumed power in Abu Dhabi Emirates, Sheikh Zayed started to cooperate with the rulers of the Arab emirates in the Gulf area to start with them the march of building the UAE state, which was born in December, 2nd, 1971. The foundation of the UAE was the first successful unity experience in the Arab modern history.

Sheikh Zayed has been ever concerned over the state of partition the Arab lives. He expressed this situation saying " Since the beginning of the inter- Arab differences until present day, I have never slept one day happily for a difference between one brother with another."
