Germany: second hostage in southern Sudan released

The German foreign ministry on Saturday announced the release of the last of the two hostages who were detained in southern Sudan. They are one German and one Kenyan who are working for World Vision humanitarian organization, and kidnapped on July 29.
The first German hostage was released on Thursday. He was admitted to one of Nairobi's hospitals for treatment of wounds in his leg he suffered during the long walks he made bare- footed with his kidnappers.
