The Sudanese Umma opposition party chaired by al-Sadeq al-Mahdi announced it has reached an agreement with the Sudan People's Liberation Movement to start a bilateral dialogue between themselves in the framework of the political forces efforts to finalize a comprehensive political solution for the Sudanese crisis.

Sara al-Fadel, the chairperson of the Umma party negotiating team with the people's movement, said that people's movement sent its consent to start the dialogue to the "Umma party."

Al-Mahdi indicated that the timing and venue of the talks are not settled yet, but loomed that Nairobi, Asmara and London are all appropriate places.
