Palestinian PFLP denies Jordan's expulsion of Saadat's wife
Jordan-Palestine, Politics, 8/2/2002

The People's Front For Liberation of Palestine has categorically denied press allegations which stressed that the Jordanian authorities had expelled from Jordan the wife of the secretary general of the front Ahmad Saadat.

A statement issued by the director of the front's office in Amman, Suheil Khouri, said that news issued to this effect are groundless, denying that the Jordanian authorities had asked him that Saadat's wife should leave Jordan within 24 hours.

The statement stressed that these information are mere lies, noting that Saadat's wife, Abla al-Rweimawi, left Jordan for Ramullah after spending a vacation with her son Ghassan who studies in one of the Jordanian universities, and that she left back for Ramullah on her own will after spending one month with her son. The statement made it clear that the information published by "one of the Qatari dailies "is null and void" and "have evil intention behind it."
