Abu Issa: American threats to striking Iraq are against international law
Regional-Iraq, Politics, 8/1/2002
The secretary general of the Arab Bar Association Farouk Abu Issa has described the American threats to striking Iraq as a flagrant violation to the International law basics and international resolutions. In a statement in Cairo on Wednesday, Abu Issa stressed that solidarity with Iraq is a national and humanitarian duty, and with the right of people to life and sovereignty over their territories.
He indicated that the American threats against Iraq coincide with the brutal massacres committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
