Syrian mediation between Morocco, Spain

The Monte Carlo radio on Tuesday quoted well informed sources as saying that the visit of Syrian president's envoy, Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara, to Morocco after his visits to Spain and Algeria bear Syrian efforts to bring together view points the two countries have reached after they had finalized an agreement concerning the peaceful settlement for the Leila isle case.
In this regard, the sources indicated that President Bashar al-Assad who was following up closely developments of Leila isle made contacts with the two sides, and continues his efforts in order to achieve an understanding between Morocco and Spain.
The sources explained that al-Shara's visit to Algeria pertains to revitalizing Arab solidarity under challenges the Arab world is facing. The sources also noted Syria's care to bring view points together between Morocco and Algeria on the ground of appreciating their role to serve Arab solidarity.
