King meets al-Shara, stresses Morocco's support for Syria

The Moroccan King Mohammed VI received in Marshan palace in Tanja on Monday the Syrian deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara. The meeting was attended by the Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa.
Al-Shara delivered a message from President Bashar al-Assad to King Mohammed VI pertinent to latest developments in the region and bilateral relations between Syria and Morocco.
Talks, during the meeting, dealt with regional and international conditions and new developments between Morocco and Spain over Leila isle. Discussions also dealt with events taking place in the region and the Israeli state run oppression terrorism of the Palestinians.
View points were identical regarding the need to concentrate Arab efforts towards the central Arab cause which is ending the Israeli occupation of all occupied Arab lands.
The king stressed Morocco's support for Syria to restore back its occupied territories. He commended Syrian- Moroccan relations, especially following the visit held by President Bashar al-Assad to Morocco and the visit of the Moroccan King to Syria.
