Turkey denies border preparations to striking Iraq

Hussein Bashkya, the governor of Sharnaq, of southern East Turkey on the Iraqi border, said on Monday that the news debated by the Turkish papers on preparations in the region for launching a military operation against Iraq is groundless.
The Turkish Yani Safak daily had stated that the USA deployed almost 200,000 tents on the Iraqi - Turkish borders in order to bring in civilians to it before the expected military operation against Iraq.
