Solana getting rid of Iraq's president is good for the region

High Representative for European Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana considered that the "key to deadlock in the Palestinian question is the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein." He said "if we get rid off him" it will be then proved that things will not be easy with those who obstruct peace in the region.
In an interview with the Italian La Republica issued on Monday, Solana said that getting rid off Saddam Hussein will be conducive to extraordinary and exceptional changes in the whole region and trends will be changed in Syria, Iran and Egypt, and that the Palestinian track will be easier.
