Peres to visit France, Washington

The Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres will be meeting with the French President Jacque Chirac and his foreign minister during his visit to France which starts today.
The Israeli radio said that Peres, after France, will visit the US in order to take part in an international economic meeting to be held there. Peres, according to the radio, will also meet with the US Secretary of State Colin Powell and the national security advisor and the UN secretary general.
