70 million Israeli shekels transfer to Palestinian authority

Israeli sources said that the Israeli authorities will transfer by the beginning of next week to the Palestinian authority a sum of 70 million shekel, which is part of the sums owned by Israel, and frozen since the beginning of the current Palestinian Intifada.
The Israeli radio quoted the sources as saying that the money will be transferred to the financial official in the Palestinian Authority Salaam Fayyad.
A Palestinian official source said that a meeting will be held today between Fayyad and the Israeli minister of finance Silvan Shalom.
The radio said quoting the source as saying that the meeting will deal with the issue of transferring the money.
