Conference on money laundering fighting in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, the capital of The United Arab Emirates, will host a conference on money laundering and means to fight the phenomenon with bankers and financial and juridical experts attending.

Participants will try to work out the best means to fight terrorism and drug trafficking, and ensure regional and international coordination in the fields.

The meeting also aims at training bankers of central banks and trade investment and financial intermediation banks to fight money laundering.

A workshop will be held on money laundering, measures to be taken to fight the phenomenon and policies to follow for a sound money management.

The event will be held at the initiative of Asharq Al Awsat Money Bills Center, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Chamber for Commerce, Industry and Services and Washington's American Institute of Juridical Studies.
