Violence, terrorism rejected by Islam, Grand Imam of AL Azhar

Grand Imam of AL Azhar Mohammed Sayyed Tantawi said Islam is the religion of peace and safety according to which violence and terrorism are rejected. This came within the context of meeting with the Indonesian judicial delegation current visiting Cairo.
Sheikh Tantawi lauded the good relations binding both the two countries and the educational institutions, foremost of which is AL Azhar that offers its services to all worlds Muslim citizen all over the world.
