Al-Faisal says Israeli practices are ugly crime

The Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher has warned Israel against its continued aggressive and inhuman practices against the Palestinians and held it responsible for the deteriorated conditions in the region because of these practices.
In a joint press conference he held with his Saudi peer Prince Saud al-Faisal in Cairo on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Maher said that the Arab peace initiative approved by the recent Arab Beirut summit is the base for any movement aimed at reaching a just and comprehensive peace according o international legitimacy resolutions and the land for peace formula in the region.
For his part, the Saudi foreign minister held Israel responsible for the conditions the Palestinians suffer. He stressed that the Arab position towards peace is clear and well-known and that acts of the Israeli prime minister are known as standing against peace.
The Saudi foreign minister also condemned the Israeli bombardment of the Palestinian residential areas and described them as ugliest - unjustified acts that are in contradiction with humanitarian and moral principles.
