Al Khaleej: Iran rejects striking Iraq; nearby solutions for pending issues with UAE

The Iranian vice president for parliamentary and legal affairs Muhammad Ali Abtahi has renewed his country's rejection of an American attack against Iraq.
Abtahi stressed in a statement to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) daily Al Khaleej issued on Monday, Iran's rejection to the threats of using military force against countries. He described the American threats against Iraq as serious.
Abtahi, on the other hand stressed that Iran and the United Arab Emirates have become closer to solving pending issues. He indicated the preparations currently made both in Iran and Tehran for the visit to be held by the Iranian President Muhammad Khatami to UAE.
