Al-Assad confers with commander of the Lebanese army

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Monday received the commander of the Lebanese army Michael Suleiman. Discussions dealt with issues of concern to Syria and Lebanon.
Also on Monday the president accepted the credentials of the new ambassadors for Cyprus and China in Damascus.
