Al- Ahram denies playing with Abdul Nasser's words
Egypt, Politics, 7/22/2002

Huda Abdul Nasser, the elder daughter of the late Egyptian President Jamal Abdul Nasser has stressed that her resignation is "final and ultimate" from the post of supervising the revolution's studies unit of the political and strategic studies in al-Ahram foundation.

This comes al-Ahram denied to have played with the statements of the late president, accusing his daughter Huda of "provoking a case and creating baseless fight." On Thursday Huda Abdul Naser resigned from her post in protest of using her name in what she considered a "deliberate defaming of her father's memory" by changing a "title" issued in al-Ahram on Wednesday to an article that was as a summary for the minutes of a meeting of one session of the central committee of the Arab socialist party in which Abdul Nasser disclosed his justifications to accept the US Roger's initiative.
