Algeria wants trade with Iraq to surpass $300 millions

Algeria said it wants "a qualitative jump in the cooperation relations" with Iraq and the need for "taking advantage of both countries' potentials and developing industry in compliance with the requirements of their economies," in addition to intensifying trade, the Algerian news agency APS reported yesterday.
Algeria affirmed that "there are fields for bilateral cooperation, especially in trade, industry, transports, higher education, scientific research, construction and infrastructures. "
Algeria's foreign minister pointed out that "the cooperation between Algeria and Iraq has progressed in the trade field, the volume of Algerian exports to Iraq going beyond $300 millions," APS reported.
