Mubarak confers with Lord Levy

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on Thursday held talks on the Middle East with the Lord Levy special delegate for the British prime minister Tony Blair.
Levy told journalists in conclusion of the meeting that he had conveyed a message from the British prime minister Tony Blair to President Mubarak pertinent to the situation in the Middle East.
On Tuesday, the British delegate arrived in Jerusalem in the framework of a mission he is making in the region.
Levy said he had met with the Israeli President Moshe Katsav, with the prime minister Ariel Sharon and with the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres as well as with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat in Ramullah.
