Israel postpones meeting with Palestinians over attack 'operation'

The Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres said that the meeting which was due on Wednesday with Palestinian officials was postponed for several days on the ground of the Palestinian operation which was carried out in Emanuel settlement in the West Bank on Tuesday.

The Israeli radio quoted Peres as saying in conclusion of his meeting with the Israeli president Moshe Katzav in Jerusalem on Wednesday that the said meeting will be held with each of the officials responsible for finance, industry, the interior and self rule in the Palestinian Authority.
