Sharon presides over Israeli higher guidance committee

The Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Wednesday presided over a meeting for the Israeli higher guidance committee in order to discuss security and political developments following the Palestinian operation on Tuesday against a bus carrying settlers near Emaneul settlement near Qalqilya.
The Israeli radio said that the committee includes the foreign minister, and the ministers of defense and finance and that the participants also discussed means of preventing the occurrence of similar operations in the future.
