Seven Israelis killed, 25 wounded in a Palestinian operation

Palestinian on Tuesday attacked a Israeli military bus near Emanuel settlement in the West Bank and this resulted in killing seven persons and wounding 25.

Eye- witnesses said that the Palestinians who carried out the attack were wearing the Israeli military uniform and they were able to blow up the bus and open machine-gun fire at it from all sides.

The Israeli helicopters chased the attackers but they were able to flee towards Nablus.

The security official for Emanuel settlement Abraham Cohen said that his car was exposed to fire. In a later news, the Israeli TV said that the wounded were not only passengers of the bus but also from a military vehicles running in front of it.

Other Palestinians also opened fire at an Israeli position near Neve Dekalim settlement in Gaza.

Meantime, the Israeli forces tightened the siege and curfew measures in the city of Qalqilya and broke into the villages of Nablus and arrested ten youths and also arrested the Palestinian female youth Ola Jaber from Jenin under the pretext that she was preparing to carry out "a suicide operation."

In Arieha, 8 Israeli tanks incurred, backed by ten armored vehicles and broke into the house of the former commander of "force no. 17" col. Abdul Rahman Saleh and arrested him and then inspected several houses and terrified the people before they pulled out to the city's frontier.

News reports said that the areas of Jenin Nablus, Toulkarem and Ramullah witnessed detention and breaking in operations resulted in arresting 25 Palestinian youths, while other Israeli forces were cutting the road leading to Gaza and stopped a UNRWA bust and arrested 30 students in it.

Two Palestinians were strongly wounded by the Israeli forces in Nablus district. One Palestinian was wounded in a similar incident near Ghoure Menashe settlement, while the Israeli forces demolished one house in Sour Baher town near Jerusalem and displaced its people.
